Data Management for a Leading US Supermarket Chain Migrating to S/4
Profiling, cleansing and reconciliation ahead of the migration, so the new core started from data the business trusted.
A clean-core transformation that removed years of accumulated custom code while keeping store operations uninterrupted.
A decade of custom development had made every SAP upgrade a project in its own right. Store operations depended on modifications that no one wanted to touch, and the cost of each release cycle had become the strongest argument against modernising at all.
CeleRITE’s Code Transformation Studio analysed the full custom estate and classified it by S/4HANA impact. The Config Synchronization Studio extracted configuration at plant and module level so the target could be assembled from what was genuinely in use rather than from documentation.
The clean-core target went live with the majority of custom objects either remediated automatically or retired as redundant. Subsequent release adoption moved from a project to scheduled work.
